Budget airlines flying from Singapore, compared

Compare the total you will pay, including bags and seats, on the route you want. Scoot, AirAsia, VietJet and Cebu Pacific are low-cost airlines that fly from Changi. Jetstar Asia stopped flying on 31 July 2025.

Who flies from Changi

• Scoot. The low-cost airline in the Singapore Airlines group, based in Singapore. It flies short routes and longer ones from Changi, and KrisFlyer miles can be redeemed on Scoot. Scoot says its flights use Terminal 1, with check-in at rows 5 to 7.
• AirAsia. AirAsia Malaysia, Thai AirAsia, Indonesia AirAsia and AirAsia Philippines fly many Southeast Asia routes from Singapore. AirAsia moved those flights to Terminal 4 from 15 September 2022. Confirm the terminal on your booking.
• VietJet. The Vietnamese low-cost airline. Check it on routes to Vietnam.
• Cebu Pacific. The Philippine low-cost airline. Check it on routes to the Philippines.
• Jetstar Airways (JQ). The Australian Jetstar airline. Jetstar says JQ flights, including international flights between Australia and Southeast Asia, were separate from the Jetstar Asia closure.
• Jetstar Asia (3K). The Singapore-based Jetstar airline. It permanently ceased operations on 31 July 2025. A 3K flight offered for travel after that date is not a current Jetstar Asia service.

What to add to the headline fare

Add a cabin bag, a checked bag, a seat, and a meal if you want one. Read the change and cancel rules. A lower base fare can cost more once a bag is on the ticket. The Changi guide covers which terminal to head for.

Full-service fares on the same route

On many routes a full-service airline includes a checked bag and a meal. Put that total next to the low-cost total before you pick. Our route pages show the fares we last checked from Changi, with the date.

A budget airline and a cheap fare are different

Is Jetstar still flying from Singapore?

Jetstar Asia (3K) stopped on 31 July 2025. Jetstar Airways (JQ) is a separate Australian airline, and Jetstar says those flights were not part of the closure.

Which terminal do budget airlines use at Changi?
